Welcome to Deltaville Ballpark
This fan guide is a resource to most everything you need to know when attending games at the ballpark. The ballpark is the home of the Deltaville Deltas and is a host for Ware Academy and 241 Baseball League games. We also host our special event, the Little League Weekend. Today, you are likely to catch a baseball game at the ballpark most nights from late March through late August.
Features of the Ballpark:
- Free Parking in the adjacent lot, the DCA pool lot and street side parking.
- Covered grandstand seating for 300 spectators – wooden bench seating
- Restroom facility with women, men and a family room with changing table
- Concession stand with ballpark favorites – accepts cash or cards – Menu
- Lighted scoreboard and PA sound system
- ADA accessible bathrooms and seating areas – wheelchair ramp and wheelchair section
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on premise
General Guidelines for all events:
The ballpark is a non-smoking facility (including vapes) and alcohol is prohibited. The ballpark is a family friendly venue and as such we expect fans to behave accordingly and exhibit good sportsmanship.
Deltaville Deltas Games:
The Deltas play in the NABA summer league and home games are typically Saturday evenings. There are times where they may play weeknight and Friday night games due to scheduling or weather. For updated details and schedule follow Deltaville Deltas on their website.
- Regular season runs Memorial Day weekend through end of July. When they play in post season, it is the first two weeks of August.
- Games typically start at 7:30pm with the gates opening at 6:00pm. They play 9 innings and approximately 3 hours.
- Admission is $7 Adults, $3 Teens (13-19), 12 and under free. *The ticket gate only takes cash at this time. Re-entry is allowed with ticket.
- Weather – Games are played unless the field is not playable. Games can be delayed to allow weather and the field to clear.
- In the event a game is started and must be called, credit to another game will be given only if cancelled before the 3rd inning.
- Each paying adult ticket receives a prize drawing ticket, which is drawn during the game. Must be present to win.
- During the game, our staff goes through the grandstand selling 50/50 raffle tickets. Must be present to win.
- Concession stand opens approximately 30 minutes before the game. Cash and cards are accepted.
241 Baseball League Games:
The 241 Baseball League is a youth baseball league made up of junior and senior divisions (ages 12-18) with 15 teams from 10 counties. They play games at the ballpark weeknights typically Monday through Thursday nights. For updated details and schedule follow 241 Baseball on their Facebook page.
- Regular season runs middle of June through end of July. They play an end of season tournament weekends in August. They typically play 45 games here at the ballpark.
- Games typically start at 7pm. They play 7 innings.
- Admission is free.
- Concession stand opens approximately 30 minutes before the game. Cash and cards are accepted.
- Teams typically from Middlesex, Mathews, Lancaster, Gloucester, Williamsburg, York, New Kent, Northumberland, Richmond County, & King William.
Little League Weekend
The Little League weekend is a special event we created to give the counties youth players the experience of playing in the “big time” ballpark. Teams from Middlesex County Little League challenge neighboring Little League teams in two days of games. For updates on schedule follow Deltaville Ballpark on our Facebook page.
- Games are played Friday evening and all day Saturday. Typical schedule is Friday 7pm and Saturday 9am – 8pm.
- Games will include baseball and softball teams.
- Admission is free.
- Concession stand opens approximately 30 minutes before the first game. Cash and cards are accepted.
Ware Academy
Ware Academy varsity boys baseball and girls softball teams in Gloucester County call the Deltaville Ballpark their home field. The teams play games on weeknights Monday through Friday. They typically play 14-16 home games at the ballpark. For updates on schedules follow Ware Academy on their Facebook page.
- Regular season games typically start the end of March and run through the middle of May.
