Ongoing Capital Improvements and Enhancements – 2026 & Beyond

While the most significant capital projects undertaken in our revitalization plan have been completed, “smaller” projects have been added to our renovation goals as needs have been identified. One of those smaller projects for last year was the addition of two sets of steps up the first base grandstand seating.

On tap for 2026 is the installation of ceiling fans in the grandstand seating areas to help move air on humid nights – one of the most requested things from our regulars! Battery backup power for lighting, as well as improvements for the concession & field maintenance storage areas are also in the works – things most visitors will not see but will be beneficial to the dedicated volunteers that run the ballpark. Some minor cosmetic improvements around the ballpark are also under consideration.

There are always ideas, brainstorms, and wish-lists on the drawing board. The ballpark committee continually evaluates and identifies potential projects that serve to maintain and enhance the facility. The Deltaville Ballpark Committee, its volunteer management, and the Deltaville Community Association will continue to ensure our ballpark remains a community treasure.

The Deltaville Ballpark, being part of the Deltaville Community Associations, a tax-exempt, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, depends on donations, fundraisers, and grants to maintain the ballpark and continue with capital improvements that enhance the patron experience. The ballpark committee takes pride in being a community partner. We host several youth baseball and softball leagues as one of their home fields, have a Little League Weekend for the county youth ballplayers, host the community fireworks, and have hosted community fundraisers.

Your support is vital to the success and continued longevity of the ballpark as a community treasure! Every donation, regardless of amount, makes a difference. Donations may be tax deductible under our 501(c)3 status.
