Get out your tents & sleeping bags! Join us for a kids camp out night on the field at Deltaville Ballpark!
Gates open at 6:30pm! We'll have yard games in the outfield, wiffleball on the infield, music ready for all your favorite dance-offs!
A hot dog & fries dinner is included! After dinner and the sun goes down, spread out a blanket in the outfield as we fire up a movie on the inflatable big screen!
As much as we'd like you to, you don't HAVE to stay over night to enjoy the fun, but if you want to truly camp out, we'll go lights out around 11pm. Bring your tent, or camp out under the stars!
In the morning, a pancake breakfast will be available for purchase!
*The target age for this event is 7-12 years old (Siblings of campers outside the target range are welcome to join your group!). We request at least one adult chaperone per 5 campers*
Tickets for the event are just $5, payable at the gate! To help us gauge hot dogs, & drinks, please pre-register below!
(If you forget to register, or are a last minute decision, don't let that stop you from coming. We'd just like to have an idea of what to expect!)
Thank you to Delta Pest Solutions, DeltaPie, and Stephen R. Blue & Associates for sponsoring this event!
(Of note, if you're worried about mosquitos, Delta Pest will be treating the ballpark the during the week before the camp out to minimize the chances of a bug bite!!)
Whatever you need to camp out! Tent/sleeping bag/air mattress/blankets/pillows. You can pitch your tent in the outfield grass (this is the idea, anyway), or spread a blanket and pillows out and sleep under the stars!
Other smart ideas:
-Bug spray (We're having the field and woods treated for mosquitos, but, better safe than sorry!)
-Blanket (to lay out on in the grass, for
-Toothbrush/toothpaste (the bathroom facilities have a combined 5 sinks)
-Battery powered things (flashlights, etc) - There will be power plugs available for charging, but these aren't really going to be out in the outfield. At night, we will have our field lights turned down to just 5%, for a soft safety glow
-Snacks (Especially S'mores supplies! There will be a camp fire!)
Absolutely not! While we'd love for everyone to camp out, if you just want to come for the evening of games & movie, we'd love to have you!
This event is targeted at the 7-12 age range. If an older sibling wants to join for the family camp out, we would love to have them! But this is not a campout targeted for teenagers.
Ballpark volunteers will be on hand for the duration of the event, however, it is required that your group have at least 1 adult chaperone every 5 children.
A hot dog dinner is included in the registration! Hot dogs, fries, and a soft drink (or tea/water) will be there for every attendee! Additional drinks & concession snacks will be available for purchase.
For those that choose to camp out, a pancake breakfast will be served! This is an additional $5, but is not mandatory.
Just like a Deltas game, pay at the gate (preferably cash only, but we do have a square reader available - service charge applies).
Registration is not required, but we would really appreciate it so that we have a pretty good idea of how many campers to expect! We want to make sure we have plenty of foodstuffs!
As part of this spring's "Plein Air Unleashed'' art event held across Middlesex county, artist Joseph Burrough chose to use Deltaville Ballpark as the setting for one of his oil paintings. Titled, "A Night at The Deltaville Ballpark", the painting received so much interest that, with the help of Allure Art Center, a limited run of 200 fine art giclee prints have been created. The 17"x9.5" artist-signed prints are available for $55, with all proceeds going directly towards ballpark renovations.
